Maria Perez LCSW, CDVP
Holistic therapist

I’m a bilingual, bicultural, nature‑loving Mexicana who has been rooted in the social work field since 2005. My career began alongside domestic violence survivors navigating complex legal systems, where I learned to identify relationship red flags, support clients through protective processes, and hold space for their courage. I later worked in early childhood programs, partnering with families to identify developmental needs and strengthen parent‑child relationships. Since earning my master’s degree, I’ve provided therapy across diverse ages, cultures, and presenting concerns—each experience shaping the grounded, compassionate clinician I am today.
As a daughter of immigrants and an immigrant myself, I hold deep meaning in conducting immigration evaluations. This work allows me to blend clinical expertise with my commitment to justice, dignity, and human stories. Every evaluation is an act of honoring resilience, amplifying voices that are often overlooked, and supporting individuals and families in their pursuit of safety, stability, and belonging.
In my coaching work, I specialize in supporting women who were diagnosed with ADHD later in life and are now navigating the emotional, cognitive, and hormonal shifts of perimenopause. I understand how overwhelming this intersection can feel—intensified symptoms, shifting identity, relationship strain, and years of trying to “push through” without a name for your experience. I offer a space where your story makes sense, where your strengths are recognized, and where healing feels possible.
My approach steps outside the traditional box of therapy. I blend evidence‑based practices with spiritual and energetic tools to create a holistic experience that nurtures mind, body, and spirit. Whether you’re seeking individual support or you and your partner are feeling the impact of ADHD on communication and connection, I provide a safe, grounding environment to explore, heal, and grow.
I look forward to supporting you in whatever way is needed in this era of your life—honoring your identity, your lived experience, and your journey toward clarity, steadiness, and self‑compassion.
